Given birth to in Delhi, but now living in Mumbai, Karthik Narayan is usually a much mistreated employee together with ACL Building, secretly excited about leggy Architect, Shonali Mukherjee, who have been proceeding steady with an additional co-worker, Ashish. After choosing a new telephone, Karthik receives a call from a male words that resembles his, who advices him to follow directions; tell no one about this call, and he'll achieve good results. He uses these guidance, is quickly promoted, together with befriends Shonali, and carries on following instructions out of this caller. After Shonali causes it to be clear in which she loves him, he or she breaks their promise, and is also urged to look for counseling by simply her. He grudgingly does so with a Pyschiatrist, Doctor. Shweta Kapadia, who hopes to cure him by going to him morning hours in their flat -- not noticing the distress and stress that wait for the duo.
