The story revolves around Gautam Khanna (Saif Ali Khan), flower D'Costa (Deepika Padukone) and Meera Gupta (Diana Penty). Gautam Khanna (Saif Ali Khan) forever had a dream to travel to London and have employment. His dream is consummated and he gets employment. however his mum, Nita (Dimple Kapadia) says that she has got to settle his wedding to a lady so he has got to wait. She finds her good 'bahu' in Meera Gupta (Diana Penty). however she doesn't tell Gautam concerning this and tells Meera's folks even to not tell Meera. She tells Gautam to require her friend's girl Meera as she has Associate in Nursing assignment in London for three days. On the flight, Meera and Gautam attach one another. In London, Meera has some issues finishing her assignment and so fails to relinquish it on time.
